Jay Kasey
Senior Vice President, Administration and Planning

As the Senior Vice President of Administration & Planning at The Ohio State University, Jay oversees service operations and construction for all University activities as well as strategic planning and capital strategies for the University. In this role, Jay also oversees all routine operational needs at the University including maintenance, security, performance improvement, construction, parking, public transportation, printing, real estate, and urban development.

Jay earned his BA in economics from Wabash College, his Masters of Hospital Administration degree from Washington University, and a second Master of Business Operational Excellence from The Ohio State University.

Mark Evans
Associate Vice President, Office of Administration & Planning

Mark is responsible for the coordination of day to day operations across the A&P units and oversees projects affecting the strategic direction of A&P. He also plays a leading role in facilitating issue resolution, integration and collaboration. Mark previously served for nine years as Senior Vice President at the Columbus Dispatch and Affiliates, for ten years as Senior Vice President with US Health Corporation (now Ohio Health) and as Executive Vice President of Casto (a real estate development and management company).

Amy Burgess
Director of Planning, Office of Administration & Planning

As the Director of Planning within Administration and Planning and a member of the A&P leadership team, Amy Burgess provides leadership and strategic direction on projects that support A&P and its business units. Amy also manages the preparation and coordination of Board of Trustees meeting materials.

Crystal Garrett
Executive Assistant, Office of Administration & Planning

Crystal oversees the operations of the Office of the Senior Vice President for Administration and Planning. She serves as a liaison for the senior vice president with internal and external constituents and provides oversight for the senior vice president’s schedule, correspondence, committee responsibilities and projects.

Kevin King
Business Manager, Office of Administration & Planning

Kevin is the Business Manager for the Office of Administration & Planning and serves as A&P’s senior fiscal officer. He provides oversight and coordination for over $350m in annual resources administered through A&P and its associated units. Kevin has served in various financial and human resource roles at the university for over 30 years.

Dan Hedman
Director of Marketing and Communications, Office of Administration & Planning

As the Director of Marketing and Communications, Dan provides strategic direction for all aspects of internal and external communications and marketing to support A&P and its business units. Dan is responsible for A&P’s shared services marketing and communications group which, in alignment with our One University mission, continues to build strong linkages with the leadership of all A&P units and University Communications. This group also helps ensure A&P communication and marketing efforts are integrated and aligned with university branding and communications direction.

Todd Hunter
Director of Human Resources, Office of Administration & Planning

Todd is responsible for human resource services for Public Safety and Transportation & Parking. He has been with The Ohio State University since 1996 and has filled various HR capacities including HR generalist, and Manager of Labor Relations for the University. Todd began his professional career with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission where he oversaw the creation of its housing discrimination unit. Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University.

Laura Stehura
Director of Human Resources, Office of Administration & Planning

Laura is responsible for human resource services for Campus Partners, Facilities Operations and Development, Physical Planning and Real Estate, and UniPrint. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University as well as a Master of Labor and Human Resources and a Master of Public Administration from The Ohio State University. Laura brings experience in leading a variety of HR initiatives. Her experience includes the Ohio Office of Collective Bargaining, various HR generalist and leadership positions with the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission and most recently, Human Resources Administrator for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.

Lynn Readey
Associate Vice President, Facilities Operations & Development (FOD)

Mary Lynn Readey is responsible for strategic and operational aspects of major components of the university’s physical environment, including general renovation and construction, contract administration, custodial, maintenance and landscape services; environmental health and safety; utilities; energy services and sustainability; roads and grounds; and real estate operations. Much of Lynn's professional focus in the last 10 years has been in the area of public construction. She previously served as Deputy General Counsel in the Office of Legal Affairs and is a past Executive Director of the Ohio School Facilities Commission, the state agency devoted to construction of K-12 school buildings, and construction law was one of her primary focus areas in the Office of Legal Affairs.

Keith Myers
Associate Vice President, Physical Planning and Real Estate

Keith provides university-wide leadership in strategically planning for Ohio State's physical environment. He champions the One Ohio State Framework, translating the vision and principles into action. In addition to leading the physical planning and real estate operations, co-chairs the Integrated Physical Planning Liaison Group along with Vice Provost Mike Boehm, builds partnerships within and outside the university, and works closely with Campus Partners President Doug Aschenbach.

Vernon Baisden
Assistant Vice President and Director, Public Safety

Vern oversees the team that strives to provide a safe and secure environment that supports the academic, research, and service missions of the university community. The Department of Public Safety includes the police, security and protective services, emergency management and fire prevention, communications and the central alarm center, student safety services, and business and administrative functions. Vern has been nationally recognized for his efforts to promote public safety at universities and colleges and professional development for public safety personnel. Before coming to Ohio State, Vern was the Director of Campus Safety at Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire. Prior to that appointment, he held several positions within the University of Michigan’s Department of Public Safety.

Jeff Dible
Director, UniPrint

Jeff oversees UniPrint, the university's print facility. He strives to provide a one stop shopping experience for the university's traditional and digital print and media needs, and leverage assets to also provide the best value to the customer. Jeff continues to support UniPrint as a leader in sustainability (Forest Stewardship Council Certified, Energy Star Partner, bio-based toner products).

Jim Trzcinski
Director, Management Services

Jim is leading the A&P effort to become more efficient and support the university’s direction to become more collaborative and operate as one university. He is assisting A&P business units in key areas such as streamlining, process improvement, efficiency and operational benchmarking, with a focus on business management and performance metrics. Jim is also working in the areas of operations improvement, including productivity management, operational benchmarking and process improvement, as A&P works to maximize efficiency and better all of the services we offer.

Beth Kelley-Snoke
Director, Transportation & Traffic Management

Beth leads Transportation & Traffic Management (TTM), which oversees transit-related operations and serves the campus community by providing reliable transportation and traffic management so that customers can access their destinations in a safe and timely manner. TTM strives to be innovative in services and adaptable to the ever changing needs of the university. General services include: The Campus Area Bus Service, On-demand paratransit service, Charter bus service, Vehicle rentals, University fleet services, Traffic management for events and construction impacts, alternate transit, crosswalk analysis and university management of the parking lease. Beth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Transportation & Logistics from Ohio State and has worked in Transportation at OSU for 23 years

Tom Rieland
General Manager, WOSU Public Media

Tom has led public media organizations for more than 30 years. He worked in commercial television as a reporter, before leaving broadcasting to seek an advanced degree. Tom has directs the public broadcast and growing online and mobile presence in service to more than 2.5 million citizens in central and southern Ohio. WOSU has more than 60 full-time staff and a $10 million annual operating budget. Tom has been focused on expanding local programming, building a strong fundraising organization, and growing WOSU’s presence in the Columbus community.

Molly Ranz-Calhoun
Assistant Vice President and Director of Facility Management, Student Life Facilities

Molly leads a team that supports Student Life departments in the fields of risk and emergency management (risk assessment, crisis management and response, fire safety, security, and access), facility operations (maintenance and painting, building systems, building automation, laundry, warehousing, moving and housekeeping support), energy management and sustainability, planning and space management, and construction and design. Molly holds a bachelor's degree in industrial design from Ohio State and has worked in Student Life since she was hired as a student employee in 1985. She has worked as a full time employee with the Office of Student Life since 1986.

Mark Conselyea
Associate Vice President, Medical Center Space & Facilities Planning

Mark is responsible for strategic leadership and decision making for all medical center owned and leased space including space assignment, planning, design, development and renovation. Additionally, Mark works with senior leaders of the university, Cancer Program and Medical Center to ensure space planning is collaborative and integrated. With more than 15 years of experience in public health, Mark most recently served as the Associate Executive Director for the James cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute responsible for the operations and development of all clinical, research, education and administrative space.
