Books and Badges - OSUPD is taking part in the Starfish Assignment’s “Books and Badges” program. Officers will read to elementary school students and give children a copy of the book the officer reads.

15+HIGHer Ground - Aerial view of the 15+HIGH project. The site will have four main buildings and a public square, featuring restaurants, bars and retail stores. Building A will open in May and WOSU Public Media’s HQ in June.

Rebar Reinforcements - A bundle of rebar on the Wexner Medical Center's Inpatient Hospital site. The project manager says it's the largest diameter rebar he has ever seen. A bar is 2-1/4" in diameter and weighs 13.6 pounds per linear foot. A 20-foot stick weighs 272 pounds.

IPPLG Project - Integrated Physical Planning Liaison Group (IPPLG) and Student Life used space grant funding to install new tables and bench seating, cleaned the iconic number sculptures and more to improve the Oxley Plaza for students, faculty and staff.

OSUPD mourns retired K9 Daran who passed away in April. Daran served @OhioState from 2007-2015 as a dual-purpose explosives-trained canine. After retiring, he lived happily surrounded with love. He will be missed by his handler and family.
