A&P Diversity Council - Kevin Koesters
In Facilities Operations and Development, I serve as senior project manager for construction projects at the Wexner Medical Center. This spans conception through design, construction, and project closeout, utilizing a wide variety of delivery methods and working closely with professionals and contractors, our university customers, facilities and IT groups, and real estate planners and engineering.
Serving as a member of A&P’s Diversity Council has afforded an opportunity to be a conduit in the Design and Construction group for enhancing our goals for workforce diversity, inclusion, and sustainability. I’ve always viewed and respected others for who they are and what they represent. Who am I to judge? My membership on the council has further expanded my knowledge base allowing me to live, share, and promote equality. Life can be difficult for all of us. Understanding all interactions we have are impactful and provides incentive enough to be a positive influence. After all, high-quality relationships provide us with the most happiness.
