The Office of Administration and Planning (A&P) Buckeye Wellness Innovator team continues to highlight one of the ten dimensions of wellness as previously shared on the dimensions of wellness calendar.
September's focus is on spiritual wellness, which encourages individuals to engage in regular self-reflection to increase awareness of purpose, meaning and connection in your life.
Ways to engage in physical wellness include:
- Building quiet times for mindfulness
- Considering holiday observances for all religions when planning events, exams, and due dates
- Engaging in positive psychology activities
- Highlighting mindfulness apps with colleagues
- Scheduling tech free events or class times
- Spending time in nature by hosting meetings, office hours, or class outdoors on nice days
