Professional Development Opportunities in March

Enhance your career wellness through the Office of Administration and Planning's (A&P) Operational Excellence (OE) / Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training. A&P staff may register to attend two half-day training sessions to learn about OE and to explore their interest in participating on a process improvement team. Sessions are free to registered A&P staff.

Staff should coordinate with their supervisor about participating in advance of registration.

Training Topics:

  • Key principles of OE
  • An overview of the Define Measure Analyze Improve Control (DMAIC) process
  • Methods and tools of OE
  • Hands-on exercises to practice applying some of the key tools
  • *Additional training and certifications are available for students who choose to continue and complete a process improvement project.

  • Monday, March 26, 1 - 5 p.m. (and)
  • Tuesday, March 27, 1 - 5 p.m.

  • Note: All sessions are in-person. There is no virtual option.
