Enhance your career wellness through the Office of Administration and Planning's (A&P) Operational Excellence (OE) / Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training. A&P staff may register to attend two half-day training sessions to learn about OE and to explore their interest in participating on a process improvement team. Sessions are free to registered A&P staff.
Staff should coordinate with their supervisor about participating in advance of registration.
Training Topics:
- Key principles of OE
- An overview of the Define Measure Analyze Improve Control (DMAIC) process
- Methods and tools of OE
- Hands-on exercises to practice applying some of the key tools
- *Additional training and certifications are available for students who choose to continue and complete a process improvement project.
