Women in A&P ERG Hosts Leadership Panel

    The Women in Administration and Planning (A&P) Employee Resource Group (ERG) recently hosted a compelling Women in Leadership Panel, bringing together influential female leaders from across A&P to share their experiences and insights. The event featured Kristin Poldemann, associate vice president of Facilities Design and Construction (FDC); Aparna Dial, senior director of Facilities Services, Engineering & Sustainability; and Larisa Kruger, manager of GIS services for Facilities Information and Technology Services (FITS).

    The hour-long panel discussion covered a variety of topics pertinent to women in leadership, including work-life balance, career growth and overcoming imposter syndrome. Attendees had the opportunity to hear firsthand accounts from the panelists on how they navigated challenges in their careers, built confidence in their roles and helped foster inclusive workplace environments.

    Throughout the discussion, the panelists shared strategies for managing professional and personal responsibilities, highlighting the importance of setting boundaries and seeking support networks. On the topic of imposter syndrome, they reflected on moments of self-doubt and how they overcame them through embracing their expertise, mentorship and self-affirmation.
