Globe-trotting in 2025

Office of Administration and Planning and Office of Student Life Winter Wellness Step Challenge participants walked the distance of a trip around the globe for the third year in a row, topping out at more than 73 million steps together. Congratulations to all participants who took a step in the direction of wellness to kick off 2025.

Winner Highlights

  • Team with the Highest # of Total Average Steps / Participant: Lost in Pace (558,565 steps / participant)
  • Team with Highest Average # of Steps / Participant / Identified Area:
    • SLTS Steppers (~ 248,710 steps / participant)
    • AP&SL Team for All (~198,620 steps / participant)
    • AP PARE Pavement Pounders (~184,792 steps /participant)
  • Most Individual Steps: A&P’s Scott Hughes (780,000 total steps) and Student Life’s Melynda Jenkins (614,431 total steps)
