From February 9-13 and throughout the month, Ohio State will be celebrating all things kindness, connection and community and sharing our Buckeye Love. A&P departments are encouraged to share kindness in unique and meaningful ways. Let’s make February 2026 a month full of smiles, gratitude and love.
Leaders from different departments across the Office of Administration and Planning (A&P) took park in the Be Kind food packing event on September 11. Along with hundreds of other Buckeyes, they were able to pack more than 300,000 meals which will be delivered to neighbors across Ohio.

The James Mobile Education Kitchen stopped at the UniPrint building to bring healthy lunch options on a hot day in June. The mobile kitchen focuses on cancer risk-reduction through food choice and educates the community about preparing easy cancer-preventive foods.
As a buckeye wellness innovator (BWI) and senior architectural systems analyst for Facilities Information and Technology Services (FITS), Sean Moodie enjoys helping to create awareness of health, wellness and employee benefits among his coworkers.
“Health, sustainability, and financial wellness are some of my biggest interests,” said Sean. “Optimizing things is a big part of my personality and I've spent a lot of time on self-improvement in these areas.”
Administration and Planning (A&P) staff gathered at the Kunz-Brundige Extension Building on May 7 for an afternoon focused on health, wellness and lifesaving education.
"This event was about more than just gaining new knowledge, it was about preparing ourselves to help others and supporting our own wellbeing," said Amy Burgess, associate vice president of A&P. "We're proud to offer opportunities like this that empower our team members."
