The Office of Administration and Planning (A&P) Buckeye Wellness Innovator team continues to highlight one of the ten dimensions of wellness as previously shared on the dimensions of wellness calendar.
As 2025 quickly approaches, Coco Kneisly, buckeye wellness innovator (BWI) and Department of Public Safety administrative services manager, is looking forward to connecting with others through wellness in the new year and promoting various Ohio State wellness benefits and activities.
Put your health first while enjoying a friendly competition between the Office of Administration and Planning (A&P) and the Office of Student Life (SL). The Winter Wellness YP4H Step Challenge runs from January 13 to February 7! Please note: Due to transition timing, OTDI staff will not be able to participate in this step challenge. All are encouraged to keep an eye out for wellness engagement opportunities throughout 2025.
Although the days are getting shorter and temperatures are beginning to drop, wellness remains a focus for Buckeye Wellness Innovators (BWI’s) within the Office of Administration and Planning (A&P).
Team members from Ohio State's Department of Public Safety attended the university's Be Kind Food packing event in September. Alongside other Buckeyes, volunteers packed more than 350,000 meals for delivery to locations in Adams, Brown, Franklin, Highland, Hamilton and Montgomery counties. Participants enjoyed sharing their #BuckeyeLove in this high-energy environment through these acts of kindness. Studies have shown that acts of kindness have wellness benefits for all involved.

In July, Transportation and Traffic Management (TTM) Buckeye Wellness Innovator (BWI) Christy Miller coordinated with Buckeye Paws to host a visit with TTM staff. The certified therapy dog-handler teams coordinate with departments across the university to bring therapy dogs to campus. Visits with the teams are said to help improve mood and decrease stress.
