  • Healthy, Tasty Team Treats

    Thanks to UniPrint Buckeye Wellness Innovator Bryan Shields and The James Mobile Education Kitchen for hosting an on-site healthy food demo for the UniPrint team.

  • Plogging for a Cause

    Buckeyes from across Ohio State's Columbus campus were invited to join the Facilities Operations and Development (FOD) Landscape Services team during a campus clean-up event in May. Volunteers met at Meiling Hall and were encouraged to walk, jog or run while picking up litter, otherwise known as "plogging." The event provided an opportunity for participants to share your #BuckeyeLove for the environment as part of environmental wellness, while enjoying the benefits of physical activity and spending time outdoors.

  • May 21: Litter Pick-Up While Walking or Jogging

    Students, faculty and staff are invited to join Facilities Operations and Development (FOD) Landscape Services team on May 21 for campus "plogging" fun to pick up litter while walking, jogging or running. Time slots are available from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Share your #BuckeyeLove for the environment while enjoying the benefits of physical activity and spending time outdoors.

  • Excellence in Performance and Wellness

    In early April, A&P’s Performance Excellence team joined other Buckeyes to focus on personal energy management and wellness through Ohio State’s Health Athlete program . Participants spend the day learning about the importance of one’s own personal story, how it can be used to affect behavior changes as well as strategies for maximizing energy and improving wellbeing.

  • Professional Development Opportunities in March

    Enhance your career wellness through the Office of Administration and Planning's (A&P) Operational Excellence (OE) / Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training. A&P staff may register to attend two half-day training sessions to learn about OE and to explore their interest in participating on a process improvement team. Sessions are free to registered A&P staff.

    Staff should coordinate with their supervisor about participating in advance of registration.

    With 2024 already off to a running start, Buckeye Wellness Innovator Bryan Shields, UniPrint Optimization Specialist/Lab Printing Coordinator for Managed Print Services, sees the new year as an opportunity to start healthy habits for wellness and exercise.

  • BuckeyeLove in Action

    Staff throughout Office of Administration and Planning (A&P) departments teamed up to collect food and toiletries to support Buckeye Food Alliance, Ohio State’s student pantry.

  • 2024 Biometric Screenings in A&P

    Biometric screenings provide a snapshot of key health measures including height, weight, blood pressure, total cholesterol, HDL, and a blood sugar value (either glucose or A1C).

  • Wellness Challenge Participants Walk the Globe Two Years in a Row

    Office of Administration and Planning and Office of Student Life Winter Wellness Step Challenge participants walked the distance of a trip around the globe for the second year in a row, topping out at more than 74 million steps together. Congratulations to all participants who took a step in the direction of wellness to kick-off 2024.

  • Shades, Stress Balls and Sweet Treats

    A&P Fiscal Buckeye Wellness Innovators Camille Mack and Ted Tobler packed wellness goodie bags to share some #BuckeyeLove with their fiscal team in February. Filled with sunglasses, stress balls, dimensions of wellness handbooks and sweet treats, the colorful wellness bags were distributed during a team gathering at an area restaurant where the team enjoyed a tasty, balanced meal.
