With 2024 already off to a running start, Buckeye Wellness Innovator Bryan Shields, UniPrint Optimization Specialist/Lab Printing Coordinator for Managed Print Services, sees the new year as an opportunity to start healthy habits for wellness and exercise.
Staff throughout Office of Administration and Planning (A&P) departments teamed up to collect food and toiletries to support Buckeye Food Alliance, Ohio State’s student pantry.
Biometric screenings provide a snapshot of key health measures including height, weight, blood pressure, total cholesterol, HDL, and a blood sugar value (either glucose or A1C).
Office of Administration and Planning and Office of Student Life Winter Wellness Step Challenge participants walked the distance of a trip around the globe for the second year in a row, topping out at more than 74 million steps together. Congratulations to all participants who took a step in the direction of wellness to kick-off 2024.
Winner Highlights
A&P Fiscal Buckeye Wellness Innovators Camille Mack and Ted Tobler packed wellness goodie bags to share some #BuckeyeLove with their fiscal team in February. Filled with sunglasses, stress balls, dimensions of wellness handbooks and sweet treats, the colorful wellness bags were distributed during a team gathering at an area restaurant where the team enjoyed a tasty, balanced meal.
Administration and Planning (A&P) is committed to supporting a culture of care and well-being at Ohio State. A&P's Buckeye Wellness Innovator (BWI) team supports these efforts by creating awareness of wellness resources and opportunities for A&P staff to take advantage of.
Office of Administration and Planning (A&P) staff are encouraged to donate food and toiletries in February to support Buckeye Food Alliance, Ohio State's student food pantry. A list of needed items and drop-off locations is listed below. Donations will be collected at select A&P locations from February 9 to February 23 and delivered to the pantry.
In January, Facilities Information and Technology Services (FITS) gathered to enjoy a balanced lunch while enjoying a health coaching webinar. Sean Moodie, architectural systems coordinator and A&P buckeye wellness innovator, polled the team to determine the preferred wellness webinar topic.
Put your health first while enjoying a friendly competition between the Office of Administration and Planning (A&P) and the Office of Student Life (SL). The Winter Wellness YP4H Step Challenge runs from January 22 to February 16!
The university-wide Buckeye Love celebration runs February 12-16 and continues throughout the year. A&P departments are encouraged to share their BuckeyeLove in unique and meaningful ways.
Like last year, A&P departments can order Sheryl’s cookies and printed materials to help spread the love. Workday tags and fiscal contact information are required. All orders should be coordinated first with area managers / supervisors.
