An active and energetic group of fiscal staff members is inspiring health and wellness through their work. The Administration and Planning Fiscal Buckeye Wellness Innovators (BWI), otherwise known as the Fiscal Health and Wellness Team, serve as ambassadors to promote health and wellness initiatives to their team of 20 fiscal staff members. Lindsey McCann, Camille Mack, Ted Tobler and Mary Wehner became BWI’s in summer 2022 and have embraced their roles, implementing creative and inclusive ways to engage in wellness.

Ohio State embodies a wellness model focusing on different dimensions of wellness and providing support resources in each area. In 2023, the Office of Administration and Planning (A&P) Buckeye Wellness Innovator team will highlight one of the ten dimensions of wellness each month to provide opportunities to learn ways to engage with each dimension. Resources, tips and activities related to each dimension will be shared with the A&P BWI team during their monthly meetings, in bi-weekly all A&P staff emails and staff sign boards.
The Ohio State University Police Division (OSUPD) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) teams showcased their agility, strategy and teamwork during the Ohio State Faculty and Staff Dodgeball Classic on December 15. Dodgeball uniforms displayed the team names, highlighting OSUPD “Protect and Swerve” and EHS “Slips Trips and Balls”. Teams faced off against each in matches, leading up to a single-elimination bracket until one team emerged victorious.

Cedric Johnson graduated from The Ohio State University in 2011 with a degree in Family Resource Management. That same year, he began working full-time as a bus supervisor for Campus Area Bus Service (CABS). Cedric as been with working with the university since 2007. In his current role, he manages over 150 employees and is responsible for scheduling and logistics. He collaborates with other transportation leadership to develop service strategies to meet university and Wexner Medical Center needs, and supervises and plans daily transit operations.

Rachael Dorothy is the facilities engineer manager for The Ohio State University FOD Operations Wexner Medical Center District. She oversees various engineering initiatives including utility programming, feasibility studies, new construction, renovation, restoration and utility energy conservation programs.
