The Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM) is an initiative to begin conversation and celebration of the Asian Pacific American cultures, histories, and identities. Here at The Ohio State University, we observe APAHM in January and mid-February. Gomes Memorial Prize from the Massachusetts Historical Society (MHS) for her book "Brethren by Nature: New England Indians, Colonists and the Origins of American Slavery," published in 2015.
