A&P Fiscal Buckeye Wellness Innovators Camille Mack and Ted Tobler packed wellness goodie bags to share some #BuckeyeLove with their fiscal team in February. Filled with sunglasses, stress balls, dimensions of wellness handbooks and sweet treats, the colorful wellness bags were distributed during a team gathering at an area restaurant where the team enjoyed a tasty, balanced meal.
Biometric screenings provide a snapshot of key health measures including height, weight, blood pressure, total cholesterol, HDL, and a blood sugar value (either glucose or A1C). Enrolled faculty and staff can earn a $25/month premium credit, or up to $40/month with an enrolled spouse, off of employee medical plan contributions by completing a verified Biometric Screening and Personal Health and Well-being Assessment (PHA) .

February's focus is on social wellness, which is the ability to develop close and sustaining relationships and engage in successful interaction with others. It also includes having a network of support and developing an awareness to the feelings of others.

Administration and Planning (A&P) is committed to supporting a culture of care and well-being at Ohio State. A&P's Buckeye Wellness Innovator (BWI) team supports these efforts by creating awareness of wellness resources and opportunities for A&P staff to take advantage of.
In January, several A&P BWI's attended Ohio State's All-Staff Wellness event, hosted by the University Staff Advisory Committee in collaboration with Office of the Chief Wellness Officer. Attendees enjoyed a light breakfast, stretches and access to information about a variety of Ohio State wellness resources.

November's focus is on financial wellness, which encourages individuals to be fully aware of financial state and budgets and save and manage finances in order to achieve realistic goals. Through planning, budgeting and saving the financially well person develops strategies to support the life they want to live now and in the future.
The A&P Fiscal team put their cooking skills to the test alongside OSU Health Coaches Jessica Hernandez and Lindsay Atwood during an October healthy food demo event. Attendees were assigned different food prep stations and worked together to prepare a variety of delicious fall favorites.
